Skunk Hosting SkunkHosting

US shared hosting · WordPress first

Cheap. Secure.
No stink at renewal.

Skunk Hosting is honest WordPress hosting for everyone. Isolation and malware defense are on by default. The price you see is the price you keep — not a 48‑month teaser.

Accounts are opening soon. First customers get Growth features at Starter price for 90 days.

What we sell

Regular price is the real price. 12‑month promo is a couple bucks off — not a hostage year two.

Secure like we mean it

A cheap host that shares a box without limits is not cheap. It is a fire sale.

Cage, not hope

Each account is fenced. A plugin disaster next door does not become your outage.

Malware is our problem

Scanning and cleanup ship on every plan. We do not upsell “Shield” to make the math work.

Backups leave the box

Copies go to object storage, not the same disk your site lives on. You can restore without paging us.

Coming after launch

Podcast hosting

RSS + audio on object storage, with honest download caps. Not unlimited. Not on the web node.

Our own VPS

KVM on metal we lease. A real VM when shared is too tight — not a marked-up public cloud.

Straight answers

Why isn’t this $2.99?

Because that price is a 48‑month ad. It renews at two to four times. Our Starter already costs us about that much to run with security on. We would rather keep you than trick you.

Where are the servers?

US metal. First shared node is on the East or West Coast — we will publish the city when accounts open.

Do I get a control panel?

Yes. You log into a real hosting panel (DirectAdmin) for files, email, SSL, and WordPress. Billing is a separate client area.

Is there phone support?

No. Tickets, 24‑hour weekday replies. A one‑person host that answers the phone is a host that never ships.
